My LS-S1 Laminectomy recovery has had me in the gym a lot trying to rehab and recover. It seems that the elliptical machine is once again becoming a great tool. Today I did my first calf raise with my right leg since the disc ruptured. About 2-3 weeks ago I was able to get some control over the muscle, so I see this as big progress. Read more →

I think today I might start to measure in months. Recovery from an L5-S1 laminectomy is not fast. Long hours gave way to long weeks which seem to be giving way to months now. The weeks are going faster and I am seeing some improvements. Life is maybe back to 90% and activities are back to about 75%. Read more →
